I scanned this picture from a free book I got at 7-11. As you can see in the lower right hand corner of the pic, some 7-11s here are called 7 & Holdings.
But two things caught my eye. First, Ishizuka San. Aka Mr. Mayu. The fat Japanese guy with a big smile who I love. Initially a Japanese talent with a TV show called Debuya, he's now fallen out of the spotlight.
But not before doing this commercial. Complete with... marijuana leaves!? Not quite, not really. Back at home, we'd think they were marijuana leaves, but here, they're "Momiji." Like a small maple, this five fingered leaf is completely innocent.

Excellent, because a real leaf has lighter colour, you can tell by the surface appearance, it is dotty rather than just a smooth array of colour
