Here is a business that you'll only find in Japan. Cat Cafes. It's pretty much just a coffee shop, but with feline residents.
The reason why these can be so popular--and profitable--is because most Japanese women both love cats and can't keep one as a pet. You practically have to own your own house to keep a pet here in Japan. And if we're talking about Tokyo, forget about it.
The first cat cafe I went to was incredible. They were everywhere! Sitting on couches, walking around, hell even rolling around on the floor. The single women, that is! I found myself wondering how so many single women could be together in one place. I counted twelve single ladies, and two couples (of which, my wife and I were one of them).
If you are a single man in Japan, run--don't walk--to the nearest cat cafe.
And I wasn't joking when I said the women were rolling around on the floor. They're in the thick of it, playing with the cats, so you can almost always check them out in all sorts of compromising positions.

Unfortunately, the next cat cafe I went to (slightly cheaper than the first) was filled with couples. So I guess the venue does matter.
